Nobles County declares highway equipment surplus, adds CSAH 10 to paving contract

The Nobles County Board approved several highway department surplus declarations and authorized a contract change to add CSAH 10 to paving contract 26003 during its Feb. 3 meeting.
Commissioners approved declaring the following items surplus to allow sale by auction: 2011 Mack Tandem Truck T242; 2002 Sterling Tandem Truck T234; 2014 Case IH Farmall 85C Tractor M222; 2023 John Deere R240 Disc Mower M246; and a 2024 GMC Sierra 3500 T226. The board also approved adding CSAH 10 to paving contract 26003 to perform a mill and overlay of driving lanes, turn lanes and intersections as a maintenance overlay to improve service level.
