The ballot language covered the levy’s permitted uses, including purchasing and improving grounds; constructing or repairing school buildings; acquiring technology and equipment; procuring libraries; expenditures for energy conservation; renting facilities under Iowa Code Chapter 28E; and purchasing student transportation equipment. The district spans O’Brien, Osceola, Sioux and Lyon counties; the Board canvassed 2nd-tier results that included jurisdictions where O’Brien County served as the control county. No additional procedural objections or motions to contest the canvass were recorded in the minutes.
