Jacques replied that board service is a balancing act: she would apply her experience and consider all voices at the table, but she also emphasized maintaining one’s integrity and the possibility of an individual vote when warranted. "The maintaining one's integrity and their individual characteristics simply, simply, voting in concert, with everyone," Jacques said, describing both consensus and independent judgment as part of the role.
