Whiteford said Eric Johnson has been selected to fill the DPW Supervisor vacancy and John Starr to fill the Parks and Recreation Director vacancy, both effective April 5, 2026. Whiteford also announced he presented his resignation as Interim County Administrator/CFO effective April 30, 2026 and the Committee agreed to forward acceptance of that resignation to the April 15 regular meeting.
Whiteford requested permission to contract with Mayjor Bole to provide DPW consulting at $40.00 per hour, not to exceed $4,000 for the remainder of 2026; the Committee reached consensus to move the contract approval to the April 15 meeting. The Board also asked for a regular report on Kaliseum revenue and expenses from the Parks and Recreation Director.
