Bob Lanxon, representing a community committee working on the West Park Pavilion upgrade, proposed pouring concrete under the existing pavilion and asked the board's permission to proceed once donations reached the needed amount. Lanxon said the group had received approximately $5,500 in pledges from individuals supporting the effort.
Trustee Pratt moved, seconded by Trustee Adams, to approve the request to pour concrete using donated labor and to allow donations to be placed in the Village playground savings account until needed. The board approved the motion in a 6-0 vote.
