Council hears updates on soldier statue marker, Interfaith Holy Week event and FirstNet representation; considers meeting-schedule change

During committee reports and announcements, Councilman D. Councilwoman A. Goodrich reported the Interfaith Advisory Committee’s planned Holy Week interactive walk at Nature Park on March 28 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Mayor Olsen told the council that Chief Watkins will be reporting to the U.S. Senate in Washington, D.C., about FirstNet for law enforcement and extended an invitation from Thompson House of Hope for council members to join morning meditation. The council also discussed a possible change to make the first monthly meeting a work session; City Manager Josh Bake said he would circulate proposals to council members.
