Allen summarized known ownership history, including a purchase by the Southwestern Investment Company and later occupancy by John Gay, who served as McKinney mayor from 1991 to 1997.
Board Member Hammitt moved to approve the marker; Board Member Kennedy seconded and the motion passed unanimously. Staff will proceed with marker issuance and administrative record updates.
