Rezoning at Red Bud Boulevard continued after sign printed wrong case number

Carol Robinson, downtown development planner with the City of McKinney, told commissioners staff recommended tabling the rezoning because notice signs were not posted in accordance with requirements. Robinson recommended continuing the public hearing to the June 9 Planning & Zoning meeting.
Applicant Martin Sanchez told the commission, “We had a glitch on the notification. Unfortunately, the signs had the wrong case number printed on it.” After a brief confirmation that staff had performed notification work, the commission voted 7-0 to continue and table the item to the June 9 meeting.
