Commissioners acknowledge $400,000 encumbrances for inmate housing, approve surplus vehicle sale

The board also recorded Purchase Order #265984 from the 2007 Sales Tax Industrial Authority Fund for $54,315 to the Comanche County Industrial Development Authority for reimbursement of expenditures covering January 2025 and October 2025 through March 2026.
Separately, the board approved a resolution declaring a 2015 Ford Interceptor SUV (VIN 1FM5K8AR6FGA89063) surplus and authorized sale to B&B Auto Recyclers of Oklahoma City. The minutes record that the vehicle had been declared surplus at the April 27, 2026 meeting and the board moved to finalize the sale.
These actions were approved on the consent agenda without recorded debate; no additional funding authorizations beyond the recorded purchase orders were entered during the meeting.
