The Comanche County Board of Commissioners voted unanimously April 27 to appoint Randi Burk as county treasurer to fill the unexpired term of Rhonda Brantley, who is retiring effective April 30, 2026. Commissioner Josh Powers moved the resolution; Ryan John seconded, and Commissioners Powers, John and Chairman Johnny Owens voted aye.
Burk’s appointment is effective May 1, 2026 upon administration of the oath of office and will continue through the end of Brantley’s unexpired term. The action was taken during the commissioners’ regular meeting in Room 302 of the Comanche County Courthouse in Lawton and was approved as part of a routine slate of motions and proclamations.
