The Strategic Plan subcommittee of the Board of Education, Skokie SD 69, convened Feb. 19 at the Maier Administration Center Board Room and was called to order at 5:36 p.m. by Kristyn Bair, Board Member and Secretary. Present were Board members Lisa Khabeer and Devin Savage as well as a broad set of district staff, building principals, teachers and parents listed in the meeting record.
Named attendees in the minutes include Dr. Margaret Clauson (Superintendent); Dr. Megan Aseltine (Assistant Superintendent of Teaching and Learning); Dr. Sonali Patil (Assistant Superintendent of Business and Finance); Kristine Joaquin Schubert (Director of Student Services); building principals and teachers including Lorenzo Cervantes (Lincoln Principal), Sarah Larsen (Madison Principal), and several classroom teachers and parents. West 40 professional learning specialists Nimisha Bhatt and Julie Morris are also listed as facilitators. The minutes state that there were no comments from visitors during the public-comment portion of the meeting.
The committee announced follow-up dates: CFC Steering Committee on Feb. 23, 2026; the next Strategic Plan Committee meeting on Feb. 26, 2026 at 5:30 p.m.; the IASB North Cook Division meeting on Mar. 3, 2026; and the regular Board of Education meeting on Mar. 17, 2026. The meeting adjourned at 7:35 p.m.
