Selectmen authorize grant applications, accept small community grants and approve capital transfer

Selectman Scott (on Zoom) asked whether a partial award would change the town match; the board clarified that if the grant award were smaller the scope of work would be reduced accordingly rather than the town increasing its match.
Separately, the board approved a capital transfer to move $98,422 in closed Public Works project balances into the plow-truck account to complete purchase of a plow truck and requested a town meeting for final approval. The board also accepted three small grants (amounts of $5,000, $1,000 and $750 were recorded in packets) for summer camp programs and America250 celebrations and a $500 gift; motions for those acceptances passed unanimously.
