Firefighter Sterling Hill honored for advanced EMT certification

The Fire Department presented its inaugural personal and professional achievement award to firefighter Sterling Hill in recognition of completing an advanced emergency medical technician program. Fire Chief Brett (speaker 11) described Sterling’s five years with the department and the goal he set to become an advanced EMT.
A certificate read aloud noted the award recognized "extraordinary effort to achieve advanced emergency medical technician" and that the department appreciates his commitment to serving the citizens of Chattahoochee Hills.
Chief Brett and staff said Sterling’s name will be the first on a departmental plaque honoring personal and professional achievement; a monetary award will accompany the certificate.
