Visit McKinney announces 'summer of soccer' kickoff June 6 at Tufts Brewery

Aaron Warner, executive director of Visit McKinney, told the board the tourism organization is launching a "summer of soccer" program that will include daily live-match viewing and associated events, with an official kickoff on June 6 at Tufts Brewery. "So, the official kickoff for the summer of soccer in McKinney is June 6. It's gonna be at Tufts Brewery," Warner said.
Warner described the program as a month-and-a-half of activities aimed at residents and visitors, including expanded viewing capacity at a central downtown location, live music and kids' activities for major matches, and additional site activations to showcase McKinney's venues. He noted recent success in recruiting events and encouraged the board and community to attend.
