MMED reports reconductoring progress on Chauncy Street and plans office lot paving

MMED staff reported that reconductoring work on Chauncy Street (Route 106) from Route 140 to Copeland Drive is ongoing: National Grid completed a large portion of its scope but MMED still must replace roughly nine poles; due to project strategy and coordination, remaining work will take additional time to complete.
Separately, staff said the department plans to repave the office parking area in front of the MMED building; paving will take about a week, front parking spots will be closed during work, and side parking will be available for customers. The commission asked for updates as work proceeds.
