Burnet County Commissioners voted unanimously Aug. 5 to approve two intra-department line-item transfers tied to routine operations. The court approved moving $1,800 from Operating Supplies (340-6140-3300) to Contract Labor (340-6140-4920) for Road & Bridge Precinct 4 to cover a shortage for work on County Road 421A, and a $599.42 transfer for Bertram Library (from Conference/Dues/Training and Operating Supplies to Machine Equipment, fund 200-6500-5750) to purchase a patron self-checkout computer.
The motion to approve items (a) and (b) was made by Commissioner Jim Luther Jr. and seconded by Commissioner Chad Collier; the vote was 5-0. Supporting attachments in the packet include the completed line-item transfer forms and an email chain documenting library staff coordination on the purchase request.
