County outlines ERP rollout tied to five-year budgeting

Chairman Tim Taylor asked when a five-year lookahead would be available. Director-level staff and Deputy Administrator Mandy Belyea said the county expects a new enterprise resource planning (ERP) system to arrive for Finance first in roughly 18 months and that a complete implementation across Finance, Human Resources and other departments could take about three years.
Board members said improved systems would support long-range planning and help present multi-year projections to the public; staff noted that Finance would be the first to receive the new system and that cross-department implementation is planned in phases.
