As part of the reorganization consent agenda, the board approved multiple administrative appointments and designations covering financial and legal administration. Items approved included appointments for treasurer and deputy treasurer; purchasing and deputy purchasing officers; tax collector; selection of bond counsel and the school attorney; and acceptance of rate schedules and other related providers.
The board also approved designations for bank depositories, the official newspaper, mileage rates and petty cash levels. Chair noted the materials and rate schedules had been provided in board materials and members confirmed they had the opportunity to review them prior to approval. These consent items delegate operational authority for routine financial and procurement functions for the district year.
Approvals were handled en bloc to expedite the reorganization business and were recorded by voice vote.
