RiverLands Park ribbon cutting draws officials and praise for accessibility

Parks Director Darold Wendlandt said the city provided gravel at mailboxes along Rico Road as part of roadway improvements, and noted that RiverLands and Campbellton are open to the public. The city also scheduled an Arbor Day tree planting at RiverLands Park for April 25.
The opening was cited repeatedly during the evening council meeting as an example of successful collaboration that preserved open space while providing recreational access.
