Supervisors approve FY27 salary and wage certifications, add two positions

The Floyd County Board of Supervisors approved FY27 Salary/Wage Certifications on June 23 with several personnel changes. The motion, made by Rottinghaus and seconded by Campbell, passed unanimously.
The Board added Jessie Holm at an annual salary of $82,565 and added Kim McCoy at $28.55 per hour. The Board granted employee Austin Walk a 0% increase and authorized removal of Ann Wagner effective July 1. Supervisors noted the FY27 salaries for the Assessor’s office and staff were also part of the certification review.
The vote was part of routine budget and personnel certifications required before the start of the fiscal year; the changes were recorded as part of the certified FY27 wage schedule.
