During New Business trustees reviewed a draft letter to the editor of the Anaconda Leader. After making corrections the board agreed Director Sam Walters would contact the absent trustees individually to secure unanimous approval before submitting the letter, rather than submit it without full trustee sign-off.
Because only two trustees were present, no formal vote was taken on the letter during the May 4 meeting. Walters said he would follow up with the absent trustees outside the meeting and report back at a future session.
