Director Sam Walters reported that the library's lilac bush has been removed and replanted at Washoe Park next to the pond; Historic Preservation Officer Gayla Hess provided a photograph of the new location. Trustee Marsha Miller suggested placing a plaque at the site with information about the bush's history.
Trustees discussed the idea but did not take a formal vote. Walters said he would continue coordinating with county preservation staff and the Friends of the Library on any marker, and further details would be resolved outside the meeting.
