Village renews annual consulting agreement with Clough Harbor (CHA) for planning and stormwater reviews

Trustees authorized the mayor to renew the village's annual consulting engineering agreement with Clough Harbor (CHA), which the village uses for site-plan review, stormwater review and other planning services.
Phil Magg, speaking about CHA's role, said the contract terms are the same as prior years with only a small fee increase ranging from $5 to $25 for certain services. "CHA, we typically use this as an annual agreement also," Magg said, and he explained that for larger projects the developer pays for on-site plan review.
The board approved the authorization by motion and voice vote and staff said they will continue to involve CHA alongside the village engineer for major commercial and industrial reviews.
