The board voted to revert Environmental Services fees to the 2025 levels for certain permits — specifically, land‑use permits and grain‑bin permits at $150 — remove the previously proposed $250 'Feedlot Inventory' fee, and add a $60 per‑test fee for commercial pesticide and commercial animal‑waste license testing.
Two separate motions recorded in the minutes show the auditor‑treasurer fee changes were approved (moved by Bob Paplow; seconded by Justin Ahlers) and the Environmental Services changes were approved (moved by Gene Metz; seconded by Chris Dybevick). The minutes note staff and the board had different criteria under consideration when implementing fees, and the fee‑schedule review was directed following a Dec. 23, 2025 meeting.
