Councilmember Cynthia Butterworth said "we have the food distribution next Friday and so we'll if anyone wants to volunteer just two little hours of your time" and urged residents to pick up after pets, citing safety concerns near school bus stops. Councilmember Danielle Cardella encouraged residents to enjoy parks as the weather warms. Mayor Pro Tem Christy Hirshberg promoted an upcoming community meeting and noted she would sell circus tickets as a fundraiser.
Mayor Johann R. Wallace summarized recent outreach and projects, saying the Skyline project "will be starting in about 30 days," discussed grant activity for the landfill and CDBG planning for March 21, and noted coordination on permitting for cactus/ocotillo movement related to a county jail project.
