The public hearing opened on Feb. 19, 2026 in Huachuca City Council Chambers to receive input on proposed text changes to Section 18.100.210 D(1). Dr. Johnson, the hearing officer, told the room that "at present, we do not have any public in the Chamber" and that no written or phone-in comments had been submitted.
With no one present to speak, Dr. Johnson closed the public hearing and said he would forward his recommendation to approve the amendment to the Town Council for the Council's final reading. The minutes were certified and bear the signatures of Mayor Johann R. Wallace and Town Clerk Brandye Thorpe.
