DEP review and dock concerns prompt selectmen to instruct lawyer contact; temporary allowance for pond dock granted

During public comment a resident raised concerns about dock pieces on town property at the pond. Selectman Timothy Deroche moved to allow the dock to remain for this year only to permit vegetation regrowth; Ray Hodsdon seconded and the motion passed 2-1. The board discussed enforcement coordination with DEP and legal follow-up for other lots but recorded no further enforcement action at the Oct. 14 meeting.
