The West Yellowstone Town Council voted to approve a commercial zoning permit for 132 Electric Street, permitting conversion of the former drive-through coffee site into three nightly rentals. Planning staff told the council the proposal had a full Design Review Group review and a unanimous planning-board recommendation; council members moved, amended the standard conditions as staff proposed, and approved the permit by voice vote.
Planning staff Scott explained two standard condition changes: amending condition 5 so the applicant “shall be responsible to mitigate any concerns” and changing condition 7 from "review" to "review and approve" the final plans. The council included all staff-recommended conditions in the motion. There were no public objections on the record during the hearing.
