The Manistee County Board approved several items related to jail operations and facilities on April 14. The board moved (Machen/Koons) to accept a quote with Advanced Correctional Healthcare, Inc. for jail medical services through Sept. 30, 2026; the motion carried with six yeas and one absence. The board separately approved Detain EMR services in the amount of $16,765 and approved Jail HVAC upgrades from ControlNet at $7,500 to be paid from the Capital Improvement Fund.

All motions recorded unanimous support among members present (YEAS: Gustad, Koons, Schmidt, Machen, Dontz, Goodman).
