Chair announces they will not seek reelection after 9½ years

The chair also reminded residents that nomination papers are available for two school board seats and one selectmen seat.
The announcement immediately created a vacancy on the board. The chair thanked fellow members for the work done during their tenure and said they will "continue and always be a fierce advocate" for the district's programs as they pursue other opportunities.
