City PD training and CRAZE session announced to E911 Board

At the April 15 meeting Chief Glass announced City Police Department training later that afternoon and Mr. Dontz said Sheriff Gutowski will run a CRAZE training session April 30 from 6–8 p.m.; Mr. Dontz thanked the Road Commission and Sheriff for attending on short notice.
During the 'Good of the Order' portion of the April 15, 2026 meeting, Chief Glass informed the Board of upcoming training being offered by the City Police Department later that afternoon. Mr. Dontz announced that Sheriff Gutowski would present CRAZE training on April 30 from 6–8 p.m. and thanked the Manistee County Road Commission representatives and the Sheriff for attending the meeting on short notice.
U/S Torrey also reminded the Board that they had received notice of an upcoming LEIN audit. The minutes record these announcements as routine informational items and do not indicate any required approvals or funding associated with the trainings.
