Santee ends August with roughly $40.18 million in General Fund cash, board accepts monthly financial report

The Santee School District Board accepted the monthly financial report for transactions posted Aug. 1–31, 2024. Assistant Superintendent of Business Services Dr. Marcia Hamilton presented the district’s cash and budget revisions and said the district ended the month with an approximate General Fund cash balance of $40,175,735.
Hamilton also summarized selected funding sources with a combined total of $1,034,609 across General Fund ($686,080), Learning Recovery ($203,779), DHCS‑SBHIP ($92,442), DODEA ($30,669) and COPES ($21,639). Member Barbara Ryan moved approval and the board recorded a unanimous vote among members present.
