Manager Joe Sollecito told commissioners the change responds to staffing shifts after the passing of Laurie Anderson and would make some of her former duties permanent for the Financial Assistants. "Manager Sollecito explained that the reason for this change to be necessary is the passing of Laurie Anderson." The motion, recorded as "To authorize the General Manager to enter into agreement with the Financial Assistants," passed on a 4-0 roll call (Brendan Roche — Yes; Mark Corsillo — Yes; Walter Wilk — Yes; Michael Feck — Yes).
