Emergency Manager George Mauldin told the Cleveland County Employee Benefits Committee that Classen Family Medicine logged 172 total encounters in May 2025. Mauldin provided a breakdown: drug screens 21; onsite clinic visits 22; Family Medicine (Norman) 37; Urgent Care (Norman) 86; Family Medicine (Moore) 38; Urgent Care (Moore) 11.
Janet Gifford, Director of Classen Family Medicine, announced a new clinic in Noble, located next to the post office, will open soon and will offer physical therapy and walk-in services. Mauldin said he plans to visit county offices to gauge interest in Artery Ultrasounds and that Janet will present information about Classen services during those visits. County Assessor and Vice-Chairman Douglas Warr requested a visit to his office on Tuesday morning and Janet confirmed she is flexible with timing.
Committee members did not take formal action on the Classen report at the July 3 meeting; the information was presented for committee awareness and staff coordination.
