Human Resources Director Brian Sams presented a new managerial confidential salary schedule and revised position grades developed from the Catapult salary study. The committee approved adoption of the new schedule by a unanimous vote and then voted 4-1 to place current managerial confidential employees into the appropriate grades and steps on the revised salary table.
The minutes record that the adoption of the schedule was approved 5-0. The separate placement action—moving current managerial confidential employees to grades and steps on the new table—was approved 4-1; the minutes do not name the dissenting supervisor. The HR transmittal included supporting documentation referenced in the packet.
The committee did not provide additional personnel appropriations at this meeting; further budget steps will follow in the formal budget process beginning in June.
