Compliance Director Ed Hunt presented the county’s 2026 Compliance Workplan and asked the committee to authorize a policy establishing essential elements of an effective compliance program. The committee approved the authorization (recorded 5-0) and Hunt said the workplan will be updated quarterly.
Hunt also presented an authorization to contract with Wayne County Community Schools’ Steady Work Program and Finger Lakes Community Action to support youth employment efforts; the committee approved that contract as well with funds identified from a Federal Health Bill Grant and a Construction Grant, and committee minutes note "no cost to the county."
