Fair Coordinator Liz Slattery and Extension Office / 4‑H representative Makala Riley outlined key dates and staffing needs as the Board prepared for the 2026 Fair. Slattery reported the remaining market swine, sheep and goat taggings are scheduled for May 27 and June 6; Fair office staff will begin work the first week of June; the County Attorney is reviewing a letter to Tradeshow vendors restricting the sale of novelty electronic devices. Extension Office / 4‑H reported County Shoot entries are due May 20.
Garrett Tschida, YLS President, reported a 93% return rate on buyer invitations with a May 15 deadline. Slattery also asked for volunteer help with Pig Wrestling setup and for assistance preparing a Fair float for the July 4 parade.
