Board approves $246,532 change order and 20‑day extension for GA apron rehab

Mr. Fielder moved to approve the GA Apron Rehab Change Order No. 1 between the Airport Board and Powder River Construction for an increase in costs associated with the required PCI increase, "with the amount not to exceed Two Hundred Forty-Six Thousand, Five Hundred and Thirty-Two Dollars and No/100 ($246,532.00)," seconded by Mr. Bennett; the motion carried. In a separate motion Mr. Bennett moved, and Mr. Fielder seconded, to approve Task Order No. 8 Amendment A to add 20 additional construction days for Powder River Construction for a cost not to exceed $30,000; that motion also carried.
The board approved both the additional funds and the schedule extension to accommodate project needs; staff and the engineer will continue to coordinate with the contractor for sequencing and final accounting.
