The Wagoner County Board of Commissioners approved the proposed Fiscal Year 2027 Economic Development Budget, including anticipated revenues, expenditures and program priorities. The motion to approve the budget was made by Commissioner Tim Kelley and seconded by Commissioner James Hanning; the board voted unanimously to adopt the budget proposal for FY2027.
At the same meeting the board approved an employment agreement for Economic Development personnel covering compensation, benefits, duties and term of employment, and authorized the chairman to execute necessary documents. The board also approved a temporary waiver of 2One6 Co-Working Space fees from Aug. 1, 2026 through Sept. 30, 2026 to address administrative implementation issues; the waiver requires all users to execute a Liability and Hold Harmless Agreement prior to facility use.
Commissioner Kelley moved each item; Commissioner Hanning seconded. The budget and related personnel agreement were described as part of the county’s FY2027 operational planning and passed without recorded opposition.
