Board considers used lights and smaller equipment for Bowman Field maintenance

Vice‑Chair Laura Mancevich told the board that Bert Mooney Airport is discarding some lights and asked whether Bowman Field would be interested in accepting them. Monte Belgarde said he would contact Pam in Butte to investigate availability. "Ms. Mancevich noted that Bert Mooney Airport is getting rid some of their lights and she is wondering if this is something that Bowman would be interested in," the minutes record.
Separately, staff raised equipment needs for routine maintenance: a line item for snow removal equipment remains in the CIP for 2027 (carried over) and Manager Belgarde requested consideration of a smaller lawn tractor to reach areas the larger mower cannot access. No procurement decisions were made at the meeting; staff were directed to seek details and report back.
