IDA reports training progress and updates policies

At the governance meeting, CEO Maggie A. Alex provided an update on training and disclosure compliance. She said current training records show long‑serving members have completed IDA general training, new member Lynn has been sent registration links, and staff participated in a July 2024 refresher.
"I brought to you today a copy of our current training records," Alex said, noting disclosure forms were submitted back in May 2024 in a timely manner. The board was informed that those requiring training are being registered for upcoming classes and that the IDA code of ethics and training options (online, in‑person, Authority Budget Office programs) were incorporated into the year's activities.
The governance committee also reported policies and procedures are current and undergoing routine updates; the committee adjourned after the update.
