Staff reported they received a single interested bid from the neighboring property owner at the minimum amount of $10 and moved to approve Ordinance 2026‑029 to transfer the parcel to that neighbor.
The council moved, seconded and approved the ordinance during the meeting. Staff said the sale will remove unnecessary city‑owned land from the rolls and let the adjacent owner take responsibility for the parcel.
