South Miami approves $13,500 pilot contract for CIP tracking software

The City Commission voted unanimously to adopt a resolution authorizing a multi-year agreement with NBCO Solutions Inc. to provide strategic planning and performance-management software intended to modernize capital-improvements project tracking.
The clerk read the resolution describing a first-year amount not to exceed $13,500 in fiscal year 2025 and an annual subscription starting at $9,785 in fiscal year 2026 with a 5% annual increase in years three through five. City staff said the software is intended to replace a manual process and provide real-time dashboards and reporting to staff, the commission and the public.
Commissioner Rodriguez moved adoption of the resolution; Vice Mayor Corey seconded. The roll-call vote was recorded as 5–0 in favor. The city manager said staff evaluated five vendors and recommended the NBCO solution for a five-year agreement to improve capital-project transparency and reporting.
The resolution authorizes the city manager to negotiate and execute the agreement; staff said further contract details will be brought to the city for implementation steps.
