Wilson County adopts updated contract after $1 increase to benefits and taxes

"The only change that we did, from the contract is we increased the line amount from benefits and taxes by $1," Graham Blizzard said. He also noted the packet lacks page numbers, telling members, "We don't have page numbers on the contract," which complicated flipping to specific sections.
After confirming the updated version of the contract, a motion was made and seconded to set the new contract. Chair called for the voice vote; verbal 'aye' responses were recorded and no members were recorded as opposed, and the updated contract was adopted.
Speakers confirmed the change was limited in scope and that other compensation lines and meeting/education benefits were unchanged.
