He argued the replacement fence matched the neighborhood style and restored the physical barrier that protects the yard. "For immediate protection of my daughter and from the unsafe road, we replace the fence as quickly as possible to restore the physical barrier," Woolley said.
Commissioners discussed including the adjacent L-shaped section of the older fence in the application; the motion to approve included a condition that any added sections match the design and construction of the existing fence. The application was approved by roll call.
