Board members approved new-business consent items and discussed transportation contracting for special-education services. A district staff member explained the district maintains runs for all potential special-education needs but is contracting out four runs this year while keeping four runs in-house.
"Right now, we are only gonna be contracting out 4 of those runs. 4 of them are gonna be in house this year," the staff member said, describing the plan to provide coverage while also relying on in-house capacity. Board members asked whether payments for special-education needs could be handled across locations; administrators said they would check the specifics and follow up.
The consent motion for the listed new-business items (9.02–9.13) was moved and approved by voice.
