Commissioners discuss airport board participation, volunteer staffing

Magden described operational reliance on volunteers: "Right right now, Travis Doctors, who's a board member and just an active user of the airport, is is really volunteering a ton of time, really, and that's kind of always been how the airports operated," and noted Roger Martin also contributes maintenance work. Commissioners said finding a contractor or aviation mechanic who can provide regular on-site service remains a priority to reduce dependence on volunteers.
