Jerome 20/20 seeks small-business support and housing inventory; commissioners approve Opportunity Zone letter

Camille Barigar told the Board Jerome 20/20 aims to help local businesses retain customers and attract new employers, and plans a small-business fair with the chamber and a county housing inventory to support recruitment. "The purpose of Jerome 20/20 is to be able to help business in the area to retain business, bring in new businesses, and provide jobs to the members of the county," Barigar said.
Later in the meeting the Board moved to approve signing a Jerome 20/20 Opportunity Zone 2.0 Status Grant support letter; the motion passed and Commissioner Ben Crouch recused himself from signing the document. The Board’s vote recorded approval of the letter to support Jerome 20/20’s grant application as part of the county’s routine agenda actions.
