Pantry says it served 5,000 residents in 2025 and asks county for continued funding

Jeff Schroeder presented details on the pantry's food sources and usage, saying, "The pantry served over 5,000 individuals during 2025. That total comes to a total of 22% of the county receiving food help." He listed donations from the Idaho Food Bank, Ridley’s, Winco, Walmart, Costco and others and noted he distributes yogurt donations to local school districts and other rural pantries.
On housing assistance, Schroeder said the Jerome Interfaith Association assisted 37 households with housing issues in the first five months of 2026 and asked that the county consider continued funding to support ongoing services.
