The Community Corrections Planning Council of Cleveland County approved a slate of reappointments and one appointment to its non‑statutory board seats during its July 8, 2025 meeting.
Chairman Joshua Hinkle moved to approve the appointments; Commissioner Jacob McHughes seconded and "the ayes have it and the motion is carried." The council reappointed Joshua Hinkle (chair) to a three‑year term covering 2026–2029, reappointed Jacob McHughes and Woody Glass for terms continuing in 2026, reappointed Gary Gage for 2026, and appointed Pam Howlett as County Clerk/Secretary for a term running 2025 through 2027. A clerk's note recorded that Hinkle will consult with Judge Jeff Virgin about whether an additional judge-appointed member is needed.
The action was taken by voice vote; minutes record only that the motion was carried. The council did not record individual roll-call votes in the minutes.
